Focus and Scope

The Journal of Industrial Policy and Technology Management is a peer-reviewed, semi-annual journal. The journal publishes scientific articles on industry policy and technology management in English. Under Industrial policy, JIPAT aims to publish in multiple disciplines on agriculture, industry and service sectors and related business in reel sectors and public policy, whereas under the technology management, such as "Artificial intelligence, blockchain, AR/VT/MR/XR, IoT, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Integration, Big Data, Cyber Security, Cloud system, twinification" that cause technology and digital transformation are within the scope. It is aimed to publish in the fields of futuristic approaches such as Society 5.0, Metaverse and business, social sciences, social policies and industrial relations.

 

Peer Review Process

Submissions which are sent to the Journal of Industrial Policy and Technology Management are reviewed by two referees. In case one of the Referee’s recommendations is positive and the other’s is negative, Editorial Board examines both reviews and decides whether to pass the article to a third Referee or return it to its author. In any case, two positive review results are required for a submission to be considered eligible for a publication in the Journal of Industrial Policy and Technology Management.

 

Publication Frequency

Journal of Industrial Policy and Technology Management includes original scientific articles related to industrial policy and technology management in English and is published twice a year in June and December.

 

Open Access Policy

Journal of Industrial Policy and Technology Management is an Open Access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

 

Originality Standards

Articles submitted to the Journal of Industrial Policy and Technology Management require complying with originality standards of the Journal. Originality standards are set to protect original works from Verbatim Copying, Improper Paraphrasing, and Self-Plagiarism. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are checked for originality using plagiarism detection software. Plagiarism Detection

In accordance with its publishing policies, Journal of Industrial Policy and Technology Management obliges each study that has undergone the "Double Blind Review Process” to be detected for plagiarism to protect the integrity of the study. Therefore, the studies are detected for plagiarism.

 

The plagiarism detection is done by Turnitin software. The matches which are found in each study after plagiarism detection are analyzed in detail and those matches with correct reference and cross-reference are sorted. In the next step, the mistakes in the remaining matches are determined and reported to the editorial board. The board, then, makes a final decision in the light of the plagiarism detection report. The author(s) may be asked to correct the mistakes listed in the report or the study may be returned to the author(s).

 

The maximum 20% plagiarism rate is accepted in the publications sent to journal. Otherwise, the publication sent is returned to the author for correction.

 

Submission / Article Processing Charges

Journal of Industrial Policy and Technology Management is an open access journal. The Journal does not charge any fees for article submission or article processing.
